What do you mean by Financially Free?
Imagine. How long can you survive financially without working?
3 months, 6 months, one year or maybe less than 3 months.
Ask yourself, how much did I save for the past years of working hard. Can you and your family survive for 3 months or 1 year with that money you save.
Were you able to buy your own house? Some will say, I was able to build my own house (Lucky for them!). But not for most Filipinos. Majority are living with their parents or relatives and many are renting. For those who were able to buy their house, can you pay your monthly amortization for the succeeding months without working? Some can live for a year but the question is. Are they living comfortably and luxuriously? Most of us cannot survive for a year, someone has to be working here or abroad. Speaking of working abroad, relatives here are technically financially free for the time being but not forever.
Some would say that my first question is ridiculous. No one can survive without working. It is not ridiculous but out of the box. Most of us are living inside the box. We follow achaic advises like study hard get good grades (I also not saying to flunk school, however some drop outs are millionaires or even billionaires. Academic literacy is very important but there are other literacy we should learn to help us became financially free). Other advises get a good job and a stable company and buy their own house. For most, buying their own house is wishful thinking because most are living with their parents and is not affordable.
Today, we need a new mindset or a new context or a new thinking. Also, we need speed to be Financially FREE. People who are Financially FREE can live abundantly for life without working.
How's that possible? Because their money works harder for them.

I want to be FINANCIAL FREE because...
FINANCIALLY FREE individuals earn their income while sleeping, playing golf, traveling around the world and many other luxurious things to do. They donate lots of money to their favorite charitable institutions and became a philanthropist. They can spend time precious time with their family, friends and serve the community. I will experience all that by 2020. How about you, what motivates or excites you to be Financially Free? Sports car Ferrari perhaps, spend one month vacation in Boracay or in Bohol or other international destination like the USA, Europe and Asia, or simple things like spending quality time with your growing kids.
Dream and dream big because it excites you to pursue those dreams. Also, big dreams attracts big results. But you have to layout a PLAN in attaining those dreams.
By 2020, I would like to retire and enjoy life. By that time, I'll be turning 46 years of age. At that age, I will retire 20 years earlier than that usual retirement age of 65. Would you want to retire Financially Free? At what age would you want to retire?
Imagine enjoying life at 45 without the stress of dealing with your boss and co-employees. Enjoy life and your youth.

Financially Free by Year 2020
To BE financially FREE is a journey that everyone can take.
I will take this road to financial freedom even if it takes more than 5 years of my life because the reward is so great that blows my mind away. Benefits like traveling locally and internationally without worrying how much you are spending and earning while you cruise around the globe.
I always say that the BEST things in life are FREE. We (with my pregnant wife and kid) went to Boracay last year for free. My office sponsored our plane tickets except for my kid. They also spent for the meals and the place where we stayed. This year, I went to Singapore for a vacation with my officemates and spent less than 10 thousand for pasalubong (my only gastos). I was hoping I could spend more but I'm not yet Financially FREE.
My end in mind is Financial FREEDOM for me and my family before or by 2020. By that time, I would like to earn at least 200 thousand pesos a month without working (passive income). Is it possible? Or it is just a wish. But if it is possible do you think the journey is most rewarding to take. Would you join me?
